PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and inexpensively produce a bonding sheet having a large number of ridges comprising a self-adhesive on its base material sheet by the reduced number of processes. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a bonding sheet for decoration having a self-adhesive layer by applying a self-adhesive to a base material sheet 4 by a knife coater 6 while transferring the base material sheet on a backing roll 5, a slit film 1 having a large number of strip like slits is interposed between the base material sheet and a knife coater to coat the base material sheet with the self-adhesive by the knife coater and a large number of ridges 7 comprising the self-adhesive are formed on the base material sheet to obtain the bonding sheet for decoration.
