PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a mold for molding which can be prepared in a short time and is suitable for mass-production. SOLUTION: A model 20 prepd. by adding cut-off shapes 24 and 25 with a specified thickness in a mold opening direction to a model main body 20a wherein the thickness in the mold opening direction of the shape of a molded article is made thicker by a specified dimension is formed and the model 20 is arranged in container-shaped outer frames 31 and 32 to divide the inside of the outer frames 31 and 32 and a liq. mold material is poured into the outer frame and is solidified to form the first mold 41x on one side of the model 20 and the second mold 42x on another side of the model 20.
