PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely cut and machine the end face of a work by means of a lightweight and compact shaft head. SOLUTION: An eccentric shaft 5 on which a cutting blade 4 is fixed is supported on the spindle shaft 2 of a shaft head revolvably around the axis Y of the spindle shaft 2 and rotatably around its own axis Y. By effecting an axial feed as the eccentric shaft 5 is revolved togetherwith the spindle shaft 2, the inside diameter surface Fi of a work W is machined and by rotating the eccentric shaft 5 with a feed stopped, as the cutting blade 4 fixed on the eccentric shaft is moved in the direction of an inside diameter, the end face Fe of the work W is machined.
