PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for fishing capable of improving visibility of a display part for displaying measuring information, setting information, etc., improving holding feeling of reel and making reel compact. SOLUTION: In this reel for fishing, providing a measuring device and a display part 3 for displaying measuring information outputted from the measuring device in a reel body and providing a display device 33 whose flat shape is square and a cover 30 for enclosing the upper part of the display device 33 in the display part 3, at least one corner among four corners of the display device 33 is chamfered in flat or curved shape.
