PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spike of a soft type having projecting parts made of rubber. SOLUTION: This spike consists of a central projection 2 having a flange, a seat plate 10 for supporting this central projection and a synthetic resin 20 for joining the central projecting part and the seat plate. The seat plate 10 has a disk 14 and a threaded part 18 for mounting to soles which is disposed under the disk. The synthetic resin 20 joins a flange 4 and the disk 14. Auxiliary peripheral projections are formed in addition to the central projection by the synthetic resin 20 preferably for the purpose of avoiding the concentration of force to the central projection at the time of wearing. In addition, the synthetic resin is penetrated to the lower part of the disk as well and is formed as undulating parts 22 preferably for the purpose of enhancing the adhesion property to the soles. The rubber is preferably crude rubber and the synthetic resin is preferably a urethane resin.
