PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the installation cost of the fire fighting facilities by increasing intervals between water plugs and water sprayers installed inside a tunnel. SOLUTION: A fire robot 1 stores a hose reel HR1 with a fire hose H of about 50 m in length corresponding to the interval between water plugs 3 being wound around the hose reel HR1, and a spray nozzle SN is attached at one end of the fire hose H. The other end of the fire hose H is jointed to a water plug 3 by way of a hose reel HR2 of a hose reel-out robot 2. When the fire robot 1 moves to a fire fighting position near a fire site and stops there, the hose reel-out robot 2 starts to run toward the back of the fire robot 1 (in the direction X) to reel out the fire hose H from the hose reel HR1 in the fire robot 1 then the hose reel-out robot 2 stops moving when the hose H is completely reeled out of the hose reel HR1, and in such a state, the fire robot 1 starts to spray water.
