PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing in high yield one of uniaxially crystal-oriented various ceramics having tungsten-bronze type crystal structure. SOLUTION: This method for producing an oriented ceramic comprises the following procedure: there are prepared needle particles having tungsten-bronze type crystal structure as host material and a guest stock to be added for forming a guest ceramic having the tungsten-bronze type crystal structure and an arbitrary composition as well, the host material and the guest stock are mixed together followed by molding into a molded form which is then burned, with the crystal plane or the orientation of the crystal axis of the host material as template, to effect orienting the guest ceramic. |
