CIRCUIT FOR AUTOMATICALLY REFRESHING SCREEN OF LCD

PURPOSE: A circuit for automatically refreshing screen of LCD is provided to prevent the decrease of the speed of a system by uniformly maintaining a requested stand-by time when displaying a recorded content on a display unit and recording data in a cell memory by the DMA method. CONSTITUTION: A data buffer(25) is located in an input terminal of a cell memory(22) ofLCD and temporarily stores a data when the data displayed on a screen of LCD occurs A DMA unit(26) records all data stored in the data buffer(25) to the cell memory(22) by a certain byte. A timer(27) operates the DMA unit(26) by a certain period. The certain period is identical to a time for which an LCD controller(23) displays one byte of content recorded in the cell memory(22) on a display unit(21). A requested stand-by time is uniformly secured by the timer(27) when the LCD controller(23) displays the content in the cell memory(22) on the display unit(21).
