PURPOSE: A device for maintaining the horizon of a head lamp for a vehicle and a method or driving for vehicle are provided to maintain the head lamp in a horizontal state by controlling a reflecting mirror of head lamp upward or downward by detecting recesses on a road. CONSTITUTION: When a vehicle is driven on a road having recesses, a detecting sensor of front inclined angle(100) and a detecting sensor of rear inclined angle(200) feed a different value of voltage into a control unit(300). In the case which gears(420)(430)(510) are butted so the reflecting mirror as to control upward at the right rotation of a motor, a signal for rotating reversely is fed from the control unit(300) to a driving unit of reflecting mirror(400) so the reflecting mirror as to control downward when more larger input voltage is fed in the detecting sensor of front inclined angle(100). When the input voltage of the detecting sensor of rear inclined angle(200) is larger, the control unit(30) feeds a signal for rotating forwardly to the driving unit of reflecting mirror(400) so the reflecting mirror is controlled upward and thereby the motor(410) of the driving unit of reflecting mirror(400) is rotated forwardly.
