PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide arrangement method for an elastic sliding support and the elastic sliding support used in the same allowing easy replacement of the support with new one after arrangement, capable of reducing the cost of the elastic sliding support and showing vibration isolation characteristic sufficiently due to elasticity. SOLUTION: An elastic sliding support 1 is arranged between foundation 52 and an upper structural body 32 in parallel to a sliding plate 23. In this method, the elastic sliding support 1 is arranged on the sliding plate 11 fixed to the base 52. The elastic sliding support 1 is fixed to the upper structural body 32 through a fixation plate 22 fixed to the elastic sliding plate 1. Mold lubricant is arranged between the fixation plate 22 and the upper structural body 32. The fixation plate 22 is thus detachably attached to the upper structural body 32.
