PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rescue port panel from being dropped without using a special fastening means such as a wing bolt by providing an emergency rescue port on the ceiling of an elevator car and a rescue port cover covering an emergency rescue port, and providing a means preventing the drop of the rescue port panel below the rescue port cover. SOLUTION: A ceiling 1 of an elevator car is provided with an rescue port cover 2 to cover an emergency rescue port bored on the ceiling 1. A ceiling 10 is provided below the ceiling 1, and a removable rescue port panel 12 is arranged at the position corresponding to the emergency rescue port. A drop preventing means 22 constituted of a bracket 20 and an elastic body 21 fixed to the tip of the bracket 20 is fitted below the rescue port cover 2. The rescue port panel 12 is prevented from being floated and dropped by the drop preventing means 22 in the normal state when the rescue port cover 2 is closed, and the rescue port panel 12 can be easily removed by merely opening the rescue port cover 2 at the time of the rescue work.
