ROOF REAR PART STRUCTURE OF HATCH BACK TYPE VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the roof rear part structure of a hatch back type vehicle to reduce processing manhours and assembling manhours. SOLUTION: A rear roof rail 2 to intercouple the upper end parts of right and left rear pillars is formed by an extrusion mold material having a hollow part and a flange part extending along the rear edge of the hollow part, and a flange part is corrected by matching it with the inner surface of a tail gate so that the flange part forms the mounting part of a weather strip. This constitution eliminates a need to join and weld together a plurality of members to form the rear roof rail 2, whereby processing manhours and assembly manhours are further decreased.
