摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish the focusing of an image sensor in a short time regardless of ocular refractivity of eyes to be examined by operating or controlling a lens drive means based on the ocular refractivity of the eyes to be examined to allow the correction of the position of starting focusing in a type equipped with a focusing lens in a photographing optical system for photographing the eyegrounds of the eyes to be examined. SOLUTION: A lens driver 608 or the like is controlled by a controller 605 based on detection signals S1-S4 of a nictitation detection circuit 601, a focusing detection circuit 602, an eye sight direction detection circuit 603 and an alignment detection circuit 604 and the operation of an operation switch 606 and a shutter 607. The lens driver 608 is so arranged as to move a focusing lens, a relay lens and the like integrally along an optical axis with a pulse motor as a drive source. In this process, the lens driver 608 is controlled based on an ocular refractivity data of eyes to be examined inputted by a data input means to correct the position of starting focusing with the focusing lens thereby enhancing operability in the focusing of an image sensor on the eyegrounds.
