PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and easily change the height of a seat surface appropriate for relaxing and having pleasant time with family members and the height of a seat surface appropriate for having a meal and working with less labor while keeping desired high stability and to attain reduction of a manufacturing cost, simplification of structure and reduction of weight. SOLUTION: An elevating/lowering guide means A slide-guiding a sofa main body 2 in the state of being freely movable forward/upward is provided between the main body 2 provided with a seat frame part 2A and a back rest frame part 2B and a base frame 4 provided with a grounding part 3. Then, an elevation energizing means B giving moving force forward/upward to the main body 2 is provided.
