PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for automatically feeding food to pets, when time comes. SOLUTION: This automatic pet food feeder is constituted by laterally laying a food-feeding pipe 2 having a spiral screw inside of the feeder at a position higher than the height of a feed pan A on a stand 3 in the direction of pipe shaft, installing a feed outlet 4 directing downward at the front end 2a of the feed pipe 2, a hopper 5 with a lid 14 on the rear end 2b of the feed pipe 2 to communicate with the feed pipe 2 and a motor 8 on the stand 3, connecting a revolving shaft 9 of the spiral screw with a drive shaft 8a to be driven and a controlling unit 11 installed with a timer 10, comprised by combining an intermittently driving timer 10a controlling the rotation of the revolving shaft 9 and an operation time timer 10b, and an automatic-manual changeover switch 15. The device is enabled to automatically feed predetermined food at predetermined feed time.
