PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to control an angle of the screen part of a pdp television by a user's operation on a stand part. CONSTITUTION: In stand type pdp television including pdp television screen part, supporting part (20, 200), and stand(30), an apparatus for tilting an angle of a pdp television screen part provides a housing in the stand part in which the supporting part is fixed. In the housing, a pinion(320) and an angle control part(300) are installed. The pinion is geared to a driving of a drive lack gear. The angle control part includes a rotation drive part to which the pinion is geared and to which the supporting part is coupled. the rotation drive part is driven by before and after moving operation of the lack gear to control an angle of pdp television screen part.
