PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve high-speed eliminating characteristics as well as durability against repeated use by a method wherein a color elimination promoter, having a structure provided with two pieces or more of specified second amide group, is employed in a reversible heat sensitive recording medium having at least a reversible heat sensitive recording layer. SOLUTION: A compound, shown by formulae I, II, III and having two pieces or more of binary amide group, is employed as a color elimination promoter. In respective formulae, R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 show a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, which can have a substituent group, while R1 and R2 can form a ring which can be formed through a nitrogen atom or oxygen atom. According to this method, high-speed eliminating property is improved and the heat resistant strength of a recording layer is increased whereby the repeating durability of the recording medium is improved. |
