PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate correction by performing a measurement used when selecting appropriate tibial components, adjusting the angle of offset of the tibial components on the basis of the result after holding the bone in a correct resection position in order to direct correctly a corrective prosthesis in relation to an intermedullary canal. SOLUTION: After a tibial IM(intermedullary) canal is prepared, an appropriate device shaft portion 20 that can be connected to a resection guide tower portion 22 is selected. The device shaft portion 20 of the tower portion 22 is mounted in the IM canal of the tibia 36, using a press-inserter, a tibia resection block is attached to an upright shaft 32, and after a visual EM compatibility test is executed, the resection block and the tower portion 22 are removed from the tibia, a directional shaft portion extender 74 is connected to the device directional shaft portion 20 remained in the IM canal instead. Using the extender 74, an assembly of a plurality of adaptable tibial templates 84 that can be adapted to accept an angular offset positioning guide 88, and an assembly of a plurality of offset bushings 96 are assembled to ensure IM corrective surgery. |
