摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method, by which an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene pipe, the outer diameter of which can be easily expanded by heat, can be efficiently manufactured. SOLUTION: This pipe is composed of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene, the viscosity high molecular weight of which is 1,000,000 and the outer diameter expansivity of which after being heated for one hour in an air oven at 140 deg.C and the elapse of 24 hours thereafter at 23 deg.C is 10% or more, in which the outer diameter expansivity (by %) is defined by [(the outer diameter after heating)-(the outer diameter before heating)]/(the outer diameter before heating)×100.
