PURPOSE: Provided is an improved process to produce acrylic acid from increased concentration of propylene using a single reactor having improved capacity and throughput CONSTITUTION: Provided is vapor phase oxidization process of acrylic acid from propylene, which comprises the steps of: supplying a reaction compound having the composition of 7 volume %of prophylen, oxygen, steam and other component containing inert gas, to a reactor; the reaction compound (the reactor has not less than one of catalysis and multi contact pipes inside shell. The inside of shell is separated into a first heat transmission field and a second heat transmission field through which heat transfer media pass. each contact pipe has more than two reaction fields which can produce acrylic acid from prophylen); producing vapor phase product containing acrylic acid resulted from contacting between the reaction compound and two reaction fields.
