摘要 PURPOSE: A gypsum fiber board with improved impact resistance is provided which has improved retention of reinforced materials to the board and stiffness of panel by attaching a rear panel made of glass fiber mesh. The method has advantages in productivity, beauty, cost and so on. CONSTITUTION: It is necessary to attach the mesh vertically on the rear of tri-layers. Because the board expands into several directions during pressing step, the extensible mesh has better adhesive forces to the board. The raw materials used for gypsum fiber board are the same as conventional ones; calcium sulphate and cellulose fiber. The gypsum fiber boards can be considered as not only multilayer but uniform single layer. Tri-layer fiber-reinforced board contains low portion of organic material cores, leading to be inflammable. Reinforcing process comprises lay outing glass fiber mess on formation belt, spreading low layers out, providing additional water for hydration.
