PURPOSE: A ceramic filter having coplanar shielder is provided to be stably attached to a main body and stably sustain the height of the filter. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic filter(300) having coplanar shielder(104) comprises a filter main body (302), a metal layer, first and second input-output pads(318), and a conductive shielder(322). The main body has a dielectric block with top, bottom and side surfaces(304,306; 308,310,312,314), and plural metal through holes(316) extended from the top surface to the bottom surface to define resonators. The metal layer substantially coats the top, bottom and side surfaces. The pads(318) have conductive area on one side surface and are surrounded by non-metal area(320). The conductive shield has plural standoff legs.
