PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air damper without requiring an O-ring as a seal member. SOLUTION: This air damper is equipped with a cylinder 1 whose both ends are opened, a piston 2 moved in the inside of the cylinder 1 and a cap 3 closing one end opening part of the cylinder 1. An annulus seal surface 4 is formed on the inside diametral side of the one end opening part of the cylinder 1, and also an extended cylinder 5 extended outwardly is successively formed on the periphery of the seal surface 4. The cap 3 has a locking part 13 to be fixed on a cylinder side, an annulus seal flange part 17 separably brought into contact with the seal surface 4, an elastically deformable part positioned between the seal flange part 17 and the locking member 13 and extended and shrunk, and a sealing base part 15 closing the one end opening part side of the cylinder l. The one-way mode air damper can be immediately provided without using an O-ring as a seal member by extending and shrinking the elastically deformable member by pressure fluctuation accompanied by the movement of the piston 2 in the inside of the cylinder 1 and separably bringing the seal flange part 17 of the cap 3 into contact with the seal surface 4 of the cylinder 1.
