PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage to a repeatable conveying device by abrasion in load locking pieces and to simplify the maintenance/adjustment of the whole device including the locking pieces. SOLUTION: Movable frames 4 are arranged around chuck bases 3 provided respectively to both end sides of a hydraulic jack 2 and, at the same time, postioning operation pieces 5 and load locking pieces 6 are arranged around a conveying rod 1. Spaces among the chuck bases 3, operating pieces 5 and movable frames 4 and and spaces among the chuck bases 3, the locking pieces 6 and movable frames are respectively connected with first and second link mechanisms 7 and 8. The locking pieces 6 move forward or backward at right angles to the direction of the length of the rod 1 through the second link mechanisms 8 by variations in the movable frames 4, and the locking pieces are so constituted that they can occupy a locking position or a non-locking position. The front end face of each of the locking pieces 6 is in a non-contact state.
