PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground compaction method different from the conventional one and capable of increasing the density and strength of a ground between vibrators vibrating in the opposite direction each other so that a plurality of vibrators are vibrated to forcedly give repeated shear deformation to the ground between the vibrators vibrating in the opposite direction each other, that is, in the way of slippage out of phase at 180 deg. as the whole ground. SOLUTION: A plurality of vibrators are so used that a ground compaction method is applied to a ground between the vibrators. First of all, a plurality of vibrators 40, 41,...49 are inserted into a ground at specific intervals each other. Then, while keeping the direction of the vibration of halves of the vibrators 40, 42, 44, 46 and 48 in the opposite direction of the vibration of the remaning vibrators 41, 43, 45, 47 and 49 and keeping such intervals as the vibrators can be substantially inserted, a plurality of vibrators are vibrated.
