PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the flocculation of addition powder to each other without requiring special equipment and to sufficiently disperse the addition powder into metal powder by mixing metal powder with heated high temp. addition powder to prepare an extruded material. SOLUTION: The inside of metal powder such as aluminum alloy powder is mixed with previously heated hard particles of alumina or the like and lubricant components of graphite or the like. As to the mixing, in the case that a mixer is previously heated, the addition powder is not cooled and the flocculation of the addition powder can efficiently be prevented. Preferably, the metal powder are heated and annealed before the mixing. In this way, the flocculation of the metal powder can be prevented. Furthermore, the metal powder become soft and an extruding stage becomes easy. As to the heating of the addition powder, preferably, the temp. is controlled to 150 to 450 deg.C and the sintering of the aluminum alloy powder of the metal powder can be suppressed to improve the productivity of an extruded material.
