PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminating fabrication method which is advantageous to reduce the number of masks. SOLUTION: In a laminating fabrication method, a substance which can be solidified such as resin-coated sand is irradiated with radiation energy to form a solidified layer, and many solidified layers are laminated in the thickness direction to fabricate a three-dimensional fabricated object. A common mask 5 having a pattern shape corresponding to a common shape common to the plane shape of the solidified layers is prepared. In the production of at least one solidified layer, an operation in which the substance is irradiated with the first radiation energy through the common mask 5 to make a common solidified part 600 and an operation in which the substance is irradiated with the second radiation energy (preferably thin laser beams) with the common mask 5 removed to make a non-common solidified part 700 are included. |
