PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sensing failure of a seedling sensor caused by the floating up of mat-shaped seedlings even if the longitudinally sent mat-shaped seedlings are the light and thin one when sensing the presence or absence of the mat seedling on a seedling-carrying platform in a seedling-transplanter longitudinally sending the mat-shaped seedlings on the seedling-carrying platform to a seedling- taking-out side. SOLUTION: A seedling-conveying part A is constituted of a conveying device 16 for longitudinally and compulsorily sending a mat-shaped seedlings, and a pressing tool 30 for pressing the mat-shaped seedlings from the upper side to the conveying device 16 side, on a seedling-carrying platform, and a seedling sensor 56 for sensing the presence or absence of the seedlings on the seedling- conveying part A is also installed.
