The invention is utilized in agriculture, specifically in the stock raising field, for animal identification and marking. The stock identification tag consists of two discs; disc (1) has a perpendicular nib (3) with a spike (5) with tapering braces (6) and external barbs (7) and (8), which are formed by the top of the disc; and disc (2) has a perpendicular sleeve (4) with internal barbs (9) and (10) and a protective ring (11) and stiffening ribs (12). When the nib (3) completely enters the sleeve (4), with its small external barb (7) it props against the sleeve's (4) small internal barb (9) and with its large external barb (8) it props against the sleeve's (4) large internal barb (10) and creates a double all-in-one disc (1) and (2) coupling. Besides, the disc's (1) nib (3) has a conical spike (5) which is made from a solid plastic, e.g. polyamide, with solidifying fibre or without it, and not less than three taper braces underneath (6), which along with the elastic plastic disc (1) completely form the nib's (3) large external barb (8), which has elastic features.
