PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for determining radio communication quality in mobile communication system are provided to determine easily qualitative degradation of a radio communication network by reducing the number of a decis ion process. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining radio communication quality in mobile communication system comprises the steps of: storing a first threshold; estimating the message number of a second state representing none-error from each message when receiving a first threshold of a first state representing an error detection from each message; and determining a radio communication network as qualitative degradation if the message number of the second state is larger than a second threshold. An apparatus for determining radio communication quality in mobile communication system comprises a detector, a storage device, an estimation circuit, and a decision circuit.
