PURPOSE: An electromagnetic relay is provided which has a flat design and is adaptable for different size. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic relay comprises: a first housing part having a coil and a core of which both ends passing through the coil form pole plates at the outside of the coil; a second housing part to which at least a spring support and a contact element having a contact spring mutually reacting with a mating contact element adhere; and an armature connected to the contact element bridging the pole plates forming air gaps.
