PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ablation type image formation material in which resolution is high and durability of an image is good and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: In the ablation type image formation material in which an image formation layer and an overcoating layer are laminated in this order on a transparent supporting body, the overcoating layer contains a compound having at least <=1500 molecular weight. Further, in the case of laminating and applying both the image formation layer containing the compound having at least <=1500 molecular weight and the overcoating layer in this order, a part of the compound having <=1500 molecular weight is moved from the image formation layer into the overcoating layer and on the surface of the overcoating layer and exists. |
