PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both an apparatus for pulverizing not only a hyphal part of Ganoderma lucidum Karst. but also a spore, a cell membrane and a cytoplasm of the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. and a method therefor. SOLUTION: Ganoderma lucidum Karst. is thermally dried to reduce the moisture content to <=7%. The dried Ganoderma lucidum Karst. is then pulverized with a stone mill 3 to thereby pulverize a spore 1 and even a cell membrane and a cytoplasm of the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. The stone mill 3 comprises an upper mill 4 and a lower mill 5 and a conical protrusion 7 is formed in the center of the top surface of the lower mill 5. In the upper mill 4, a conical recessed part 8 opposite to the conical protrusion 7 is provided on the base and a charging port 11 is formed at a position separate from the center. The base of the upper mill 4 and the top surface of the lower mill 5 are respectively set with a grain mill dressing leaving the peripheral part 8. The upper mill 4 is fixed and the lower mill 5 is freely rotatably attached.
