PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and noises in a chain belt. SOLUTION: A power transmitting chain belt 105a is composed of chain parts 110a, 110b each composed of a plurality of link lines, and struts 174. Among the link lines, each of inner links 41' has a pair of aperture and a pair of toes extended downward so as to limit a passage. At an outer side end of every other link line, asymmetrical guide links 36' are formed. One end of the guide link has a projection 35. The strut 174 has a top portion 180 arranged inside the passge of the inner link 41'. The chain parts are offset by 1/2 pitch of chain. The struts 174, arranged on the chain parts 110a, and the struts 174, arranged on the chain parts 111a, are alternatively located. It is thus possible to dispense with a retaining ring, and cope with one kind of struts.
