PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurizing apparatus capable of surely and cheaply eliminating an odorant in a city gas. SOLUTION: This desulfurizing apparatus is constituted of plural adsorption parts, which are connected in series and are removable one by one and altogether. Subsequently, porous ceramic layers containing a powdery adsorbent are installed on the inner wall of the adsorption parts and an adsorbent is packed in the adsorption parts. As the adsorbent is employed a faujasite type zeolite containing Na at an ion exchanging site.
