PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin and/or polyester resin melt-molded products that are economical, high in productivity, and suitable for a variety of uses. SOLUTION: After polycondensation reaction, a polymer is extruded out through a vented extruder, as it is molten, to give the objective polyester resin. The resultant polyester resin has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.55-0.9 dl/g, an acetaldehyde content of <=30 ppm and an acid value of 20-80 equivalents/ton of the polyester resin. |
