PURPOSE: A method and device for improving accuracy for arranging ink drops which cross over a printing medium scanning by compensating speed fluctuation and an ink drop flying time for turning on a carriage speed lamp is provided. CONSTITUTION: A system compensates distance fluctuation of a pen and a paper, carriage speed fluctuation and time that each spraying drop reaches to the paper. A controller for ink drop spray timing, containing a carriage, comprises a device for generating a periodical carriage position signal when the carriage scans the pen along a fan shape shaft while crossing over a printing medium, a device for generating an ink drop spray timing on the basis of the periodical carriage position signal by contacting with the device for generating the periodical carriage position signal, and a device for compensating an ink drop flying time according to carriage speed fluctuation when the carriage crosses along the fan shape shaft by compensating expectation time error as advancing the ink drop spray timing signal. Therefore, the controller generates a scanning position interrupt signal by comparing the carriage position with a preset interrupt position.
