PURPOSE: An alarm system is offered to inform to a user when occurring a leakage of gas or a fire using an electronic control circuit of a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: An alarm system of a refrigerator contains the steps of: sensing in a sensor when occurring a leakage of gas or a fire while operating a refrigerator, data converting an abnormal signal sensed through a sensor, inputting to a microcomputer and judging a problem. Herein, the microcomputer selectively outputs a control signal according to kinds of abnormal signals between first/second driving units(42,44). Then, a signal for operating a display unit or an electric component is outputted from a place where the control signal is inputted between the first/second driving units, an alarm is generated or an alarm image is outputted by operating the display unit after stopping each electric component.
