BRUSH SEAL AND ROTATING DEVICE EMBEDDED WITH BRUSH SEAL

PURPOSE: A brush seal is provided to improve the problem to reduce the efficiency of a steam turbine by leaking the steam between a case surrounding a rotator and the circumference of the turbine. CONSTITUTION: A brush seal used to a rotating device(12) contains plural segments of brush seal(14,16). The brush seal is equipped with a number of bristles of brush seal(18) curved manually and an extended holder of bristles(20). Each bristle(18) contains a plastic and has a fixed end(22) and a free end(24). The fixed end(22) of bristles(18) is stuck by fixing in the holder of bristles(20). These brush seal(10) seals the gap for a leakage fluid between the region of high pressure and the region of low pressure.
