PURPOSE: A lamp socket for a wedge base lamp is provided to be used in a light acting module for motor vehicle and to economize costs for the structure as well as to improve its lifetime and the performance of the lamp. CONSTITUTION: A lamp socket for a wedge base lamp includes: two pieces of insulating materials having a body(22) and a housing(24); the body having plural contact cavities and a body cavity(26) containing facing surfaces(28,30); and a first and a second elastic members(38,40) combined with angular ledges(28,30) and inserted into the body cavity to keep a wedge base(42) of a lamp(44) such as a wedge base lamp.
