PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up composting, to annihilate peculiar odorization, to impart fertility enhanced and to improve both handling property and scattering performance by aerobically fermenting a mixture of organic waste, germ excluding bed and an (alumino)siliceous activator having specific properties. SOLUTION: This compost composition comprises 100 pts.wt. mixture of 30-70 wt.% organic waste (e.g. sludge or the like) with germ excluding bed discharged in culturing mushroom and 5-50 wt.% (alumino)siliceous activator having >=15% percentage of water absorption, >=6 mg/100 g soluble silicic acid content and ammonia absorptivity. The activator is e.g. silica/alumina composite granule of filter cake formed when mixing and neutralizing acidic waste fluid in the acidic treatment of clay with alkaline waste fluid in synthesizing zeolite and/or lime. The mixture is fermented at 60-80 deg.C for 25-40 days so as to be subjected to composting to form particulate. |
