PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the starter having an insulating bush with a big compression strength of a bolt tightening direction. SOLUTION: This starter 100 is provided with at least two contact points 5, 6, an electrode 4 installed on a shaft 3, a moving means 1 for moving the electrode 4 in order to connect at least two contact points 5, 6 with the electrode 4 electrically, a case 11 for storing at least two contact points 5, 6, electrode 4 and the moving means 1 and fixing means 7-10, 12-17 for insulating and fixing one of at least two contact points 5, 6 with the case 11 electrically. The fixing means 7-10, 12-17 fix one of at least two contact points 5, 6 to the case 11 by insulating bushes 12, 13 having a metal collar 22, receive bushes 16, 17, bolts 7, 8 and nuts 9, 10.
