PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel suspension metal fitting to be surely engaged. SOLUTION: A suspension metal fitting 1 is provided on a tip of a suspension string to suspend a panel, and engaged with a lip-groove type rail 5 provided on a back side of the panel. The panel suspension metal fitting is provided with an engagement piece 2 which is inserted in a groove part 52 between lip parts 51 and engaged with the lip part 51 when trned within the groove part 52. The panel suspension metal fitting is provided with a shaft part 3 which is extended from the engagement piece 2 and connects a suspension string 6 to its tip part 32. The panel suspension metal fitting is provided with a locking member 4 which is provided slidably along the shaft part 3, inserted in the groove part 52 between the lip parts 51 in a condition where the engagement piece 2 is engaged with the lip part 51, and fixes the engagement piece 2.
