PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a decorative design property by fitting a rectangular base plate to a crack occurrence section by screws, sticking a double-coated tape to the upper face of the base plate, then arranging a decorative sheet on the adhesive face of the double-coated tape when repairing the crack generated on a landing wall of an elevator entrance. SOLUTION: When a crack A generated on a landing wall 6 near the jamb 4 of an elevator entrance is to be repaired, a rectangular base plate 7 stuck with a double-coated tape 9 on its upper face is fitted to the occurrence section of the crack A by screws 8 to cover the whole crack A so that one side face approaches the jamb 4. A seal is peeled off from the double-coated tape 9, a volatile liquid is applied to its face, then a decorative sheet 10 is stuck on the base plate 7. The decorative sheet 10 is completely stuck when the volatile liquid is dried, therefore the decorative sheet 10 is positioned before the volatile liquid is dried. The landing wall 6 can be repaired to a decent state by completely covering the crack A section with the decorative sheet 10.
