CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR THIN CURTAIN WALL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain wall maintaining a beautiful wall surface over a long period by preventing rainwater falling on the wall surface from flowing collectively. SOLUTION: Wall units are arranged adjacent to one another, both horizontally and vertically, to construct a wall surface. A draining/cutoff block 18 is extended between draining frames 160 on the tops of aluminum frames mounted on the horizontally adjoining wail units. The draining/cutoff block 180 has an inclined face whereby rainwater failing down is drained in front of the wall surface, and also has a soft elastic body separating a rainwater flow passage extending along a vertical joint from a rainwater flow passage on each draining frame 160.
