PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the connecting structure of sleepers, in which the mechanical strength of connecting sections are made larger than those of conventional devices and the sleepers can be assembled simply into a long-sized sleeper on an execution field. SOLUTION: Notched sections are abutted and used as connecting sections in the mutual sleepers 2, 3, in which the notched sections are formed at one end sections, and the connecting sections of both sleepers 2, 3 are connected by bolts 81 and nuts 82 through an upper-side metal plate 4 and a lower-side metal plate 5 abutted against the upper and lower surfaces of the connecting sections. A reinforcing plate 6 installed at the upper-side metal plate 4 is inserted into an opening S formed between the connecting end faces of both sleepers 2, 3 while the front end sections of the reinforcing plate 6 are locked at slots 7 formed in the lower-side metal plate 5.
