PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously perform opening/closing operation on both ends of a roof, and to always apply a tensile load to drive cables at closing time by respectively and separately arranging electric motors opened/closed through a pair of drive cables actuated in the inverse direction on the end surface of a roof frame. SOLUTION: Two electric motors 18, 19 are arranged in the central part of a frame front member 11 and a rear member 12 to open/close both ends of a collapsible frame, and a pair of inverse directional drive cables traveling in a guide channel of a roof frame 10 is driven through respective pinions. That is, the drive cable pairs for driving the front end is driven by the electric motor 18, and the drive cable pairs for driving the rear end are driven by the electric motor 19. Thus, opening/closing operation can be simultaneously or independently performed on both ends of the roof and a tensile load is always applied between the drive cable pairs for driving the front end and the drive cable pairs for driving the rear end when closing the roof.
