PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water or the like from permeating to the skin over which a tape is applied and observe the surface of the skin without separating the tape, when the surface of a backing is drenched with water for many hours after the tape is applied to the skin, regarding a medical adhesive material such as an adhesive tape, a surgical tape or the like. SOLUTION: The adhesive sheet has an adhesive layer on the reverse of a backing. In this case, the backing is transparent or translucent, and has moisture permeability of 10 g/24 hrs/m2 or less at a temperature of 38 deg.C and at a humidity of 90%. An adhesive forming the adhesive layer has a minimum molecular weight of 500 or over and the crosslinking agent is a metal oxide compound.
