PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid to apply a load on the cotyle itself by inserting a large screw enough durable to the load into the iliac bone and fixing and mounting a cup on its screw. SOLUTION: This cotyle socket is constituted in such a way that a boss 11 for inserting and holding a lag screw for fixing a socket main body 10 on the cotyle and a long hole 13 for fixing an ischial bone peg fixed on the ischial bone for stopping rotation of the socket main body 10 are formed on the outer face of the dome-like socket main body 10 formed of an excellent biocompatible material.
