PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly display medical image data of a patient at any time by obtaining a desired medical image data at a reserved date from an image server to be displayed in a type which is designed to obtain medical image data from image servers to display medical images. SOLUTION: A physician starts a setting means 511 to display an image server window 521 on a CRT 52. Then, desired medical image data are selected from a list in the image server window 521 by an input means 54 while a date specified screen 522 is displayed by the setting means 511. Then, the reserved date is inputted to store the setting into an HD 53. Later, an obtaining means 512 reads the setting out of the HD 53 and the medical image data to be set out of the image server 1 at the set date to be stored into the HD 53. By the physician's operation of a display means 513, the list of medical image data stored in the HD 53 is displayed on the CRT 52 to be used for the diagnosis of a patient.
